This Course Together pulls the skills you've Been Learning in the previous After Effects Apprentice Installments to create a Real-World Promo video. Trish leads you through building the artwork and components used in the final piece, and then Chris shows how to assemble these precompositions into a 3D world, timed to music. Along the way, Trish and Chris also share their thoughts as they design a video project, including unifying the overall look and handling change requests from clients.

Building upon the popularity of our first After Effects project-based course, AFX208, we'll begin work on a new project from concept through compositing and design. For this project, we'll be creating a new animated show open in the style of programs such as "Top Chef", "Project Runway", and "Make Me a Supermodel". Leading the course will be Danny Princz, a New York City based artist who has taught several courses in the past. Also helping out will be Mark Christiansen, author of "Adobe After Effects CS4 Visual Effects and Compositing Studio Techniques", and fxphd dean John Montgomery.

This course, taught by returning Nuke prof Russell Dodgson is a fully production based course. It is designed to tie in directly with it's companion course, MYA214: Production-based Lighting and Rendering being taught by Robert Harrington. The class will be dealing with a full vfx sequence shot bespoke for the course.

Character Animation Fundamentals in 3ds Max demonstrates the basic principles of character animation that help bring simple 3D characters to life. Starting with an overview of the character rig, author George Maestri provides guidelines for creating strong poses and explains how to animate from pose to pose in an organized fashion. The course also covers locomotion—animating realistic gestures, walks, and runs; explores the basics of facial expressions and dialogue; and culminates with an animated scene built entirely from scratch.
